If you guys are trying to say that he's too old, he hit 39 homers two seasons ago for the Cubs...I dont think he's done yet.
Man, I'm just nostalgic. I even have Alou on a team, and have been eagerly awaiting his arrival from the DL. I do think that he won't be powering anything near 35+ homers this year, but I do think he'll get a boatload of RBI behind Barry.
I agree about the RBIs...He has 29 RBI in 26 games

i believe he's going to have a good year--maybe not a "big" year, per se, but i think he's got more left in him than a lot of people give him credit for. the only thing i'm concerned about is his ankle. he admitted that he doesn't think it's going to be 100% for the rest of the season, but i'm hoping it doesn't stop him.
