Thinking of trading for him. How sound does his job look. Does he look like he can keep the closer job all year?

rotoworld calls his job "secure". i concur. its not rock solid but he can blow a few saves and not have to worry about losing his job.

It's secure as long as he stays healthy. There isn't anybody in that pen to challenge him, heck a couple of those guys don't even belong in the major leagues

He's got it for sure barring a complete implosion. Weathers is done as closer, what's the point in shifting back and forth... you just destroy the confidence of both pitchers.

weathers will take over his job again as closer.. give it a month maybe a month and a half.. coffey is going to blow up, hes much worse then weathers.. they have no true closer, but weathers is going to be the best option for that team unless they go look for a closer..

That's funny. Compare the two pitchers K/9, K/BB, ERA and WHIP and tell me again who is better?
Weathers is a piece of junk. Coffey is no Mariano, but Weathers is just terrible. He walks as many guys as he strikes out for god's sake.
