There is a thread over on the football side that is bashing the sportingnews mock draft that was published. One guy who participated (Matthew Berry) seemed to be the biggest guy to point and laugh at. Berry actually stopped in, and said this:

Matthew Berry here. The "idiot" and "moron" from previous posts in this thread. True story: I was actually talking with Brandon Funston today who told me about this thread - apologize, as I mostly spend time on my own site - and he told me about the Funston, Fabiano and Berry - 3 guys to never listen to quote. I may have to put that on my website. We both thought that was hilarious.

He could obviously be a fake, but it was a long post that defended his picks. I don't know why anybody would go through the trouble to do that, unless it was really him.

So not only is Funston aware of the Cafe (at least the football side) but other experts are as well. I wonder if he stops by over here, and reads all the crap we give him.

That's not really surprising. It's one of the biggest Fantasy forums out there right now. Who knows, maybe Funston and the others just drop in and use the search function to see if anybody's mentioned them.. :-b

As for Yahoo Fantasy experts that I know have accounts on here, well mbuser (Matt Buser) has a lot of posts on the BBall cafe.

I heard Peter Gammons gets all of his analysis from the Game Commentary Cheering/Venting thread. He reads it in his underwear and every time he makes a post under an assumed name he yells at his screen "I'm announcing my presence with authority!"
