M. Mulder's Last Stand???

Postby CeeLoGreen » Fri Jun 09, 2006 2:33 am

Does he know he is in a contract year???

I think this may be his last chance. I hate dropping someone with such a history, but he has been bad, the Cardinals are worse with not Pujols and I am getting frustrated.

Any opinions on the situation?
Basically I'm complicated.
I have a hard time taking the easy way
I wouldn't call it schizophrenia
But Ill be at least two people today

If that's OK

And I can go on, and on, and on...

But who cares?

Depends on the options but I would drop him in most situations. He isn't going to strike many out and his ERA and WHIP isn't anything special.

He is a still a solid source for wins IMO. The cards still has a decent offense without Pujols. Now if Edmonds and/or Rolen go down too, the wins would probably stop coming for a month. I'm trying to unload him in a package deal in my H2H leauge.

He's not as good as he once was. You think him and Hudson would improve coming from the AL to the NL!

I can still see him being a valuable #3/#4 starter.

he had a solid era in the second half of last year (whip and k's still stunk). he might be useful help in the w and era category in the second half but i wouldnt count on it.

he's capable of having one good halfs. i think he had a good 2nd half last year, and a good 1st half last year. or the reverse. or something like that. whatever.

anyway, i'd bench him until 2 weeks after all star break. if he doesn't do well at that point, then dump him.
