i picked up shea hillenbrand a weeek and a 1/2 ago of waivers, and omg he is playing great. i was just offerd a trade and this is it

i get scott rollen

should i do it please help both r playing similar right now, but the bo sox have more surrounding him meaning more pitches please lmk

I like Hillenbrand (see other thread), but I like Rolen more. Hillenbrand's lineup spot is a point in his favor, but I see what he's doing now as a best-case scenario that may not last the whole season (he's started like a house on fire before, only to cool off). Hillenbrand is hot and may seem more exciting at the moment, but Rolen is safer and better overall. I'd accept the trade.

Plus, hitting behind Bobby Abreu and in front of Lieberthal isn't5 such a bad situation to be in, either...

I'd also choose the proven player, Rolen! You know what you get from him whereas Hillenbrand is still somewhat of an unknown, he might be another Larry Walker!
