What to make of Bonser?

I had big hopes for him, but it seems like he'll be an average pitcher with a mid 4 ERA now. His Ks are still there, buts thats it. Where do you see his career?

If he can fix the problem(leaving too many pitches down the middle of the plate, HR problem): #2 pitcher

If he can't? Not going to make the rotation with the Twins, they have way too many arms.

I like his stuff but his control inside the strike zone is suspect.

I'd say at best he is/will be a bad/average number 3, but most likely a 4 or 5. He doesn't have the juice on his fastball he used to back when he was a first round pick, but has been putting up pretty good numbers in AAA. The key for him though as the previous poster said is locating his pitches. Right now he gives up a few bad bad pitches each outing that are crushed for HR's.
