I think Gordon has better RAW stuff, but he is erratic and I think Marte can handle the closer role better. And Marte is not the ONLY lefty in the pen, but he is the best, so I can see why Manuel is reluctant to use him in the closer role

Scott Schoeneweis is another lefty in their pen. So is Kelly Wunsch.
