No veto. It's not straight down the middle, but not lopsided enough for a veto.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

That reasoning again? How bout for the integrity of the league you should veto trades? Trades arent gonna be even always, as this one isnt. But this one isnt even close really. Ishii is on the DL let us not forget. Dunn is barely over .200 and so the deal is basically Jeter and .200 hitting Dunn for the games best hitter right now in Pujols, and a pitcher that has been pretty darn good all year in Williams.
I'd consider a veto this deal. I'd have to hear some reasoning as to why someone was wanting to give up two really good players for 1 decent player and the other two so-so players. I'd suspect something was up too if this were a team in contention getting Pujols side and the other team was out of it.
the integrity of the league argument is a touch flimsy IMO. Am jor part of the game is player evaluations and salesmanship. Every owner should be constantly looking fro ways he can improve hsi squad. Jsut because other woners didn;t think of it, doesn't mean it shouldn;t go through. Real sports don't have that itnegrity, neither should fantasy. Int he case of collusion, it is obvsiouly different. ut int he case of jsut lopsided trades, I don;t think the league has any business telling me or a trading partner how to run our teams.
sometimes the reasons for some of these trades aren;t as apprent fromt he surface as you might think. Everyone in my league was ina c ropw abotu a trade involving wakefield. well the guy getting him needed k's bad and overpaid for him. sometiomes someone is forced to play a counter intuitive strategy to make progress.
if things have to be too close, it isn;t fun and it seems more luck dependant. I think the economic subtext of the game is what really make sit fun IMO, ripping people off if possible is part of that.
