Yahoo trading problem

Postby Howie » Thu Jun 08, 2006 12:51 pm

Hey guys. I proposed a trade of Verlander and Tyler Walker for Oswalt, and the other owner said he tried to accept it, but Yahoo said it was an uneven trade. Usually in this case, the trade would be accepted and he would have to drop 1 player, right? In addition, we both have guys occupying DL spots who currently arent on the DL (I have Hamels and he has Worrell). Will Yahoo not allow trades if our players are on the DL like this? Oswalt is not occupying a DL spot for him. How can i fix this?

Ill post our rosters in their current state in case that helps. We are allowed 4 bench spots and 1 DL spot.

It might be because Hamels is no longer on the DL. I don't think yahoo will let you make a roster move unless both sides have valid rosters

It isn't because it is a uneven trade, it is because you both have players on the DL who aren't anymore. Before you can make any transactions you will have to drop a player, either the player on the DL, or another and activate the player on the DL.

What if the trade is accepted, and during the pending period a player comes off the DL (but you keep him there). Will the trade go through?

I have never had that happen, but I assume the trade would be held up until the roster was corrected.
