I recall that there was a little bit of hype around this guy coming into the year. IIRC there were people who expected a jump in his numbers somewhat based on his big seasons in Colorado, and the fact that Houston is a notorious hitter's park. Heck, Preston went for 25 HRs and 90 RBIs with half of his season in Washington last year.

Anyway, here we are two months into the season, and Preston has 6 HRs and 27 RBIs (on pace for 16 HRs and 73 RBIs). He has a dreadful .224 average and .638 OPS at home. I thought he'd be a solid fourth/fifth OF, but he hasn't been much of anything.

What do you guys think about him for the rest of the year?

Is it worth the roster spot to see if he bounces back strong here at some point?

I heard he was Mookie's god son. That alone make him legit.
Is there anything fluffier than a cloud?
If there is, I don't want to know about it.

I've never been a big Preston Wilson fan. I think if you can find an upgrade for your roster, then by all means do it. Don't wait around for Preston's fortunes to change.

.250-25-75 sounds about right. Not a bad 4th-5th OF in 12 team.

I wouldn't doubt if his succesful years had a little enhancement help if you know what I mean.

I don't think he will pick it up.

i was one of the people that thought he might make a useful 4th outfielder. didnt draft him though. i wouldnt use a roster spot on him now. maybe keep him on your watch list if your outfield is thin but in a standard 12 team league there are better uses for that roster spot.
