There isn't, but the presumption is that they're neither as intelligent nor as ruthless as he is. Additionally, I've heard on the radio that he was ratted out from within. Put those two things together, and I smell progress.

Well, when I read that his own people turned on him, I'd say that sounds like their will has changed.
