There isn't, but the presumption is that they're neither as intelligent nor as ruthless as he is. Additionally, I've heard on the radio that he was ratted out from within. Put those two things together, and I smell progress.

See, that's what I think I heard too. :-?

CNN is actually reporting that now. Good news. Scratch that. Excellent news.

You can break any people's will. Its just a matter of if the US is willing to do it.

Well, when I read that his own people turned on him, I'd say that sounds like their will has changed.

Sounds like a few well placed bombs/grenades/rockets to me. O:-)

Congrats for sure, and thanks for what you do. ;-D ;-D

Hopefully in a few years, we can look back and say Al-Zarqawi's death was the turning point to the war and a definite reason why our troops came home.

So what does this do to his value?

Like, should I just drop him, or does he have some value for next year in a keeper league?

:-]

Anyway, great news here, and here's hoping for more excellent news in the near future. ;-D

Or someone else just wanted to seize leadership and thought using the Americans to kill him would be the best way.

I don't know if this is true, but if it is it's hilarious.

This was posted at Political Crossfire, which someone in these forums linked to a long time ago (during the presidential debates)

Alizard wrote:I have it on good authority his last words were:

"I will be martyred and Allah will send me back to earth to take his revenge!"

to which they replied:

"Great.... that means we'll get to kill you twice.

That had me cracking up.
