Do you think Scott Baker or Matt Garza is a better bet to be called up this year and who do you think is the better bet to be in the rotation next year?

Garza is mexican for GAS. He throws it pretty good. I am hoping he stays in AA for another month or so so I can swing over there to see him go.

In four AA games he is 3-0 with 30 Ks to 6 BBs. In 23+ IP, too. He had one terrible start but the others have been so great that his ERA is a mere 1.99.

Garza has much much higher ceiling than Baker. Garza is thought by most to be a #2 guy(the way he's pitching, I say he can do better) and Baker is thought as a mid/end rotation guy at best. I'd want Garza right now.

Matt Garza now has 6 starts in the AA Eastern League.

He is 4 - 1 with an ERA of 1.26 in 35.2 IP. Only 20 hits allowed, too, while striking out 47 and walking 9. ;-D His WHIP is 0.81.

The opponents are at his mercy.

Here's hoping he gets to Minnesota this season. I need 1 game in or I lose him as a keeper.
