Anybody know why he isn't playing. Yahoo hasn't mentioned his name since the Nevin trade.

he isnt playing because he went into a 2-12 slump.

normally that wouldnt take playing time from someone, but the rangers have mark derosa hitting .336 with a .934 ops demaning playing time.

botts should still get some starts, but until he either has some huge game (though he hasnt even been given the chance in a while) or mark derosa goes cold he is not going to get consistent playing time.

so yeah i wanted to stress that botts isnt doing anything wrong, its derosa thats just been very very good. his on the road average is currently at .353
