I think this is his career high for IP in a season or something, and he's seemed a bit tired at times, so they're giving him some rest. Not a bad idea, kind of like the rest Halladay got a few weeks ago robbing me of a SHO as well ...
Glad they took him out, I was playing against him, and that could have been disaster if the guy would have gotten them points against me, since I happened to leave Mora in lineup for this week as well.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

Useless Trivia of the day
England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
There is nothing wrong with him. They just wanted to rest his arm. He has had hot spots on his arm and throwing 80 pitches has to help his arm out. Plus when your 12.5 up it isn't really worth risking Schmidt. I think you could see this a lot more this season if the lead stays where it is.

From Rotoworld...
Jason Schmidt won his fourth straight outing with seven innings of four-hit ball in the Giants' shutout of the Pirates on Tuesday night.
Schmidt retired 16 of the first 18 hitters he faced. Because he's still not at full strength as he returns from forearm tendinitis, manager Felipe Alou yanked him after just 80 pitches.
