lets hope not. pitcher's used to go past 100 all the time, 127 isnt that much.

If Livan Hernandez's arm is still in one piece, Zambrano should be just fine.

Well, Livan doesn't throw nearly as hard or put as much stress into his delivery.

people ask this several times a year, every year, and people shy away from Z only to their detriment. Pitch count has never been a problem for Zambrano. There is zero reason to think it will start after a single 120+ pitch outing for a 25-year-old who has never been anything short of a rock.
My advice: Find some sucker who believes that pitch counts are equally important for everyone and steal Zambrano from him.

It's not throwing hard that stresses the arm, it's curves, sliders and all the fancy stuff.
Zambrano will be just fine.
