Can anyone tell me about this guy? so far i have read he can play any position in the infiled has a pretty good bat that translates well in a wood bat league because he was mvp of the cap league. Any projections?
Everything I have read is that he is pretty solid defensively with a good stick. As far as actual numbers though, I have not seen any projections on him yet, but heres hoping he is a Scott Rolen type of player for us. He does fill a huge need for the Drays at 3B, but I would have been happier with the Longoria pick if we had signed Morris last week. Hopefully he will sign quickly, and get the move on in the organization. One thing this pick does do though if he signs, I think it takes 3b out of the equation for Upton in the future, so hopefully Upton can continue to show improvement at SS.

Good luck with that, he has been compared to Randa and Cirillo.

He wouldn't ever stick there, it was just the Rays hoping they could fine something. They said this didn't impact him at all, but I think that is more lip service than anything.

last night during the dray game friedman said that the signing of longoria didnt impact it b/c he would be played everywhere and they like him at 2nd as well.
