What do you guys do in the "off season"

Well just like the Tigers season, my fantasy baseabll season is over. (2000 points back of 1st).


What do you guys do in the off seaosn? I know most of you have your football, but i am not a fan fan of the pig skin.

I work on the yard and do some house chores to appease the wife.

i do the fantasy football, personally, but it doesn't require nearly the time commitment that does baseball.

if you do keeper leagues, you can still try to muster trades in the off-season.

Last year I had a good offseason. "I found the cafe" We had an offseason mock draft and it took the entire offseason but it gave me something to do to fill my baseball fix.

I bet I would have done much better if I found the cafe earlier.
Anyway, the keeper league is the closest thing I can get during the "offseason".

Aug. 13-14 _ Owners meeting, Boston.
Aug. 31 - Deadline for postseason rosters.
Sept. 1 - Active rosters increased to 40 players.
Sept. 30 - Playoffs start.
Oct. 18 - World Series starts, city of AL champion.
October-November TBA - Free-agent filing, 15 days following World Series.
Nov. 10-14 - General managers meeting, Phoenix.
Dec. 7 - Last day for teams to offer salary arbitration to their former players who became free agents.
Dec. 12-15 - Winter meetings, New Orleans.
Dec. 19 - Last day for free agents offered salary arbitration to accept or reject the offers.
Dec. 20 - Last day for teams to offer 2004 contracts to unsigned players.

Jan 5-15 - Salary arbitration filing.
