gez no kidding. i've been avoiding picking up a 2nd ss for the last two weeks. if i would have done it right after the hand injusy i'd be in much better shape in my h2h league.

I read that he wont play the final 2 games of the Red Sox series (Wed & Thurs).

I'm almost 100% sure that he won't play because I put him in my lineup based on CBS' statements that he was almost certain to play most of the Boston series. You can virtually count on him being out because my roster is locked for the week.

I think he'll probably be back after the Boston series, though of course he'll play as soon as he's able. Jeter's always been a trooper. I'm just thanking your deity of choice that he's okay, as that injury looked much more serious at the time.
