I manage my team very closely to try and avoid a last minute scratch and having a empty starting position. I am in first place and
checked the 2 teams that are 8 points behind me, they both are
running from 6 to 10 games under their limit for games. I am
even or plus 1 or 2 in every position except catcher, even there,
I am only 9 short, I have Posada and J Williams and start Williams
when Posada is off or plays against the As or Pedro. I suspect, they
would be even or ahead of me if they used their starts. I can see
saving pitching, but it makes no sense to leave games on the table,
you can't make them up. This seems obvious, but looking at my
league, it is apparently not.

I wouldn't get two true catchers, they will drive you crazy as they
both tend to have the same days off-day game after a night game=
someone like Willliams is perfect, he really plays first base and catches when Wilson/Piazza is off. I won't claim to be smart enough
to know this when I picked Wilson up, but I did figure it out.
