I know he hasnt been bad, but he most certainly hasnt anchored any staff in a roto league. We all know he is better than this...could this be the time to buy low on Jake Peavy and than reap the benefits in the 2nd half? I think it is...

i'd have to agree with you on this one. though the shoulder tendonitis is cause for concern. if that won't be a problem for the rest of the season, then he is a great buy low candidate right now.

The k's have been there and the ERA is only a smidge over 4. Buy low if you can.

Yeah, his WHIP isn't bad either. But he seems to kill me every week. :-o

I think the lingering tendonitis has to be the problem here. I wouldn't be surprised to see a DL stint to follow. Things obviously aren't working right now with it as it is, so he is going to need some time off.

the guys has a 4.5 era and he's shown absolutely no consistency. that shoulder has to be bugging him more than he's letting on. i smell a DL stint very soon.
