Maybe im wrong, but it was my presumption that this guy was a good player...3-4 years ago. Is this correct? Wasnt he supposed to be a kind of power hitter, or am i way off base? Now he is completely worthless.
ive never owned him so i hadnt payed too much attention.
Whats the deal, or was mu innitial impression wrong?

Power hitter
He was a high OBP type player who could nab double digits in steals. His steals have declined in Oakland.

In the late 90's to 2001... He was on average about a 315. avg. 410 obp, 10 homers, 15 steals.... He even had a 112 runs one season.... Those are awesome #s from the catcher spot... Those days are long gone.

lol, i knew he was a good player at least. SO what happened to him? I had saw he hit his first homerun since like 2004 the other day. I had a good laugh, I mean guys like David Eckstien has a couple a year. I suppose thats just not somethign he even tries for.? If I remember correctly didnt he have a kind of big contract?

Actually, Kendall DID have power. But it wasn't 4 years ago, it was more like 8. He hit for pretty good power from 1998-2000 but lost his power when he sustained a brutal injury.
