Please talk me out of starting Leiter today.

I would have started him today, but we have weekly changes in our league which would put Leiter up against RJ. No thanks.

My reason for starting him are in my initial post, along with the fact that he's had three great years pitching prior to this year and has pitched 3 VERY good games since coming off the DL. So I did start him. We'll see if it pans out.

As long as you can aford a little shot to your WHIP, it looks like Leiter has this win wrapped up in the fifth!!

SWEET!! The WHIP is a little disturbing. But 6k's in 6 innings and one run given up ain't bad for the "old southpaw."

Plus, the one run was a garbage run. Tony Clark was out of position on a rundown.
