It's way to early to pick him up in a 12 team league. He has decent stuff, and seems to be an incredibly hard worker, but he likely will never amount to more than a back of the rotation pitcher.

Over the course of a season, I'd expect around 12 wins and a 4.50 ERA. Granted, this is only after seeing him in a few starts, and I could be wrong, but he certainly doesn't have "lights out" stuff. His FB tops out about 90-91, and he has good breaking stuff when he is able to spot it. But he is certainly not overpowering, and seems to get into a lot of jams so far and get out of them without too much damage.

Pass on him unless you are in an NL only league...

We have seen 2 different pitchers. One in his first inning and second start, and one in the remainder of his first start and yesterday. The second one, has command on his pitches and could be worth owning in fantasy leagues. The first one, well not quite.

His first two starts he got into trouble early and that hurt him. I enjoy watching him pitch but I doubt he'll ever be more than a good 4, or mediocre 3
