MONTGOMERY - Rehabbing Devil Ray second baseman Jorge Cantu homered and drove in five runs, and the Montgomery Biscuits (30-22) responded to a late Jacksonville game-tying two-run rally with a two-run rally of their own to defeat the Suns (33-20), 8-6.
The victory halted both the Biscuits' four-game losing streak and the Suns' eight-game winning streak, bringing Montgomery within 2.5 games of Jacksonville for first place in the South Division of the Southern League.
Cantu singled home Jeremy Owens in the first inning, part of a two-run Biscuit welcome to Jacksonville starter Heath Totten.
In the second, following a solo home run by the Suns' Tony Abreu in the top of the frame, Cantu crushed a three-run roundtripper to give Montgomery a 5-1 lead.
