Does This Team Have What it Takes to Stay in 1st?

Postby ScrappyDoo » Tue Jun 06, 2006 10:56 am

I've been in first for the majority of the year. After a lot of hot starts, some of my players are starting to cool down and I just want to know if you think I should make some trades to try and move my depth for some improvements.

Its an 8 team first year keeper. Any advice would be appreciated. Leave a link and Ill return the favor.

I think you should be okay. As long as Webb keeps pitching like he is your Starting picthing should be fine. Maybe need one more closer but that is nit picking. You have some good trade opportunites though.

Johnny Gomes, And you could certainly trade Dunn. Konerko can play first and you have a strong bench. I might also look at trading Griff. You could get another closer or an upgrade at second for him and you would still have a strong bench. Also with Jeter hurt now you may need to move hall to SS for a while.

My assesment: You need a Closer and a Second Basemen. Oh and you should play Hamels he is good.

How about my team? http://www.fantasybaseballcafe.com/foru ... p?t=212391
