I've been offered Kearns in a trade (Juan Gone for Kearns). I'm not playing for this year at this point, so how serious is Kearns' injury, short and long-term? He seems to be really injury prone, but he also looked last year like the real deal.

In a keeper league I would grab Kearns in a heartbeat. Juan Gone is what 37 . AK is what 23 and is in a great hitters park. Reds consider him untradable so he will be a cornerstone for years to come.

in a keeper i would take kearns as well. juan gone has had his share of injury troubles and no one is really sure where he will play next year. if goes somewhere and ends up not being happy he is going to play like crap.
i think kearns will be healthy and ready to play next year. depending on how long you can keep him, i think it could turn out to be a pretty nice deal for you.

What about for this year only. Think Kearns can put up some good numbers in the last 8 weeks?
