Unless you are in a shallow 6 person league, I see no reason why you would want to drop Sheffield, even if he takes up a DL spot.

Have you sent a note to Yahoo? Sounds stupid, but I did the same thing with Sportline when Matsui got injured. Got a nice note back and within 5 hours, and he was off the list. That simple.
I think all services should have some criteria to automatically amend their undroppable list, both to add players during the year and letting others drop off based on injury or lackluster performance. Surprised they don't. It's very arbitrary.

Yeah, the can't-cut list is kind of absurd. Some awesome dudes like Chase Utley and Ryan Howard aren't on the list. Yahoo is weird.

I think you can have your commish change his source for the "can't cut list"......I think he could switch it for you to drop him, then switch it back to yahoo. I have never done it, but try emailing your commish.

I assume he will.
Every time I've seen someone is injured long term that's on the no cut list, they've been removed within a week or so. I think it has to do with getting a more official estimate of the time to be missed. So I think Yahoo needs to get something more then "maybe he'll miss some time" to move him off the list.

In 2005, Posada was on there. That might have been the craziest one I've ever seen. Drove me crazy.
