I think he's more of a power hitter than the other options. I picked him up in one of my leagues and I'm enjoying the benefits ;-D

I wish the Red Sox could get guys like this. ;-7

Man, how does everyone else get these great young SS like Freddy Sanchez and Hanley Ramirez while we're stuck with Alex Gonzalez? ;-7

For Scott Sauerbeck and Jeff Suppan at the deadline in '03. Wasn't bad at the time, because it gave us the pitching needed for a playoff run...well it would have if Suppan could have pitched somewhat effectively.

I'm not complaining about the deal, I love Beckett. It just seems every time the Sox trade a player away they start doing very well.

In another thread on here in the last week or so, someone said Freddi had the highest AVG in the bigs since last August. Not bad if its true :-°

please dont compare sanchez to hanley.. freddy will drop off just like all the other young guys do on the pirates.. they are streaky.. hanley atleast has a bunch of sbs to show for it, when freddys average drops hes just a big nothing.. so hes not really a big deal, solid player.. but nothing to go crazy over..
