Besides, would you prefer if all prices were rounded up to the nearest nickel?

If nobody is carrying "cash" and the card are connected to their eye or their fingerprint why mug somebody? Same for buying drugs on the street. It might go behind closed doors, but it it'll be hard to conduct "bidness" on the corner.
No, you'll just see an increase in violent crimes. People will get a gun in the back and be "escorted" to the ATM and asked to make a big withdrawl or die.
You're less likely to get hurt it you just hand them your cash and let them run.
