Dan Johnson: Dry Eyes the Issue?

Postby benjapage » Mon Jun 05, 2006 1:55 pm

rotoworld.com reports
Dan Johnson has reportedly had problems with dry eyes and blurred vision this season.
That might be one explanation for his struggles at the plate. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Johnson has to take a pitch when his vision blurs. Jun. 5 - 10:04 am et

he needs to get those contact lenses that brian roberts uses. fix that problem right now. i think we all have known that he's too good a hitter to perform like he has thus far.

hammy, the other thread may have been GCC&V, but this one...this one is about as perfectly placed as a thread can be. ;-D

OK I gave it a shot in Leftovers but it was falling off the main page quickly so I am going to move it to Injuries & Player Updates where it really belongs. The other thread was complete garbage other than your post which is why it was moved. If I was clever I would have split out your post into it's own thread but I am still green and that's a lot more difficult than it sounds for me. :-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I think some people with contact lenses, like myself, can relate. Hopefully that is the problem and he remembers to bring drops to the field with him.

interesting that the a's are running into a potential--granted, still a potential--logjam of offensive prowess. just think, if crosby steps up, and swish, and DJ, and hurt, and chavez...dang.

amazinz, you're right. should've gone here, anyway. :-/
