He should be ok.

He had a collision with AHill going for the ball(similar to Ozzie Guillen mishap some yrs back. Only ozzie wrecked his knee and was out for a yr). He came back though. But I guess he was still a little sore so he came out later.
Just traded BButler, BWood & JLoney for Mark Teixeira, Ryan Theriot & Renyel Pinto in a DYNASTY LEAGUE. Big gamble I know!

GLAUS

Postby Guzman24 » Sun Jun 04, 2006 4:40 pm

Any update on Troy Glaus?? He left the game after a collision with Aaron Hill going for a fly ball in foul territory. He did take a couple of AB's after the injury took place but then pulled himself out of the game. Apparently it was just too much. Looked like a leg or lower back injury.

Looks like it's day-to-day for now:

FOX Sports
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Troy Glaus left Sunday's game against Tampa Bay with a lower back injury.

"He should be OK," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. "We'll go day to day and see how he is."

Glaus departed after the top of the fifth, three innings after shortstop Aaron Hill ran into him while the pair were chasing Aubrey Huff's pop foul down the left-field line.

"It's stiff. It's sore," Glaus said. "I don't know. It was bad enough that I couldn't continue today. I guess we'll see tomorrow."

Glaus tumbled to the ground after contact was made and was limping after he got up and started walking back toward the infield.

"I heard him, but too late," Glaus said. "He obviously didn't hear me. I heard him way too late."

My heart skipped a beat when I saw this because Glaus is a pretty fragile guy :-o

Is it worth starting Edmonds over him this week?
