Reported today in the Pittsburgh paper, Sanchez will continue to start even after Joe Randa returns from the DL. And with the biggest "no s*it" quote of the week it's Dave Littlefield, Pirates GM:

"If Freddy's going to hit .350, I think he should be playing third base."

That's great news for Freddy, the Pirates, and my Yahoo! team!!!!
Sanchez is having a great season, and I was lucky enough to pick him up as a free agent on Yahoo! weeks ago. Randa will be a good late innings defensive replacement and that's about it. Randa, even in his prime, never had much fantasy value.

Very good decision by the Pirates. Obviously not a Dusty Baker production. :P

good news for me, especially with Jeter's injury, that SS eligibility is a nice safety net.

He's good...he's going to hit, end of story. He's done it at every level. As long as you don't expect 20 HRs and realize what you have, he'll be great.
