He's good, but I think that ERA is gonna keep going up. He's been stranding a lot of baserunners, and I wouldn't count on that continuing all year. He'll get nice K's and should have more W's. I think he's a great #3 SP.
Each year he has gotten better, and his ERA has been on a decline, so I don't know how his ERA can "keep going up," if it hasn't even started going up. I think he is a great #2, borderline #1 SP. He hasn't given up more than 3 ER all season.

I think what he meant was that based on his current peripherals, his current ERA should be higher.
He's a legit #2 starter with #1 potential. He's extremely young and getting better each year.

ERA from '02-04: 4.25, 4.43, 5.52
WHIP from '02-04: 1.42, 1.46, 1.47

He has only had 1 year of improvement.
I hope you are joking, rather than finding any three years of a players stats where one can find a decline; I prefer to look at ones most recent years when deciding if they are improving or not, not their first three years in the league.
ERA from '04-06: 5.52, 3.72, 2.90
WHIP from '04-06: 1.46, 1.21, 1.23

I hope this was a joke. This is only his 4th MLB season and he is 25 years old. 04 was clearly a disappointing season but everything is pointing towards him becoming a top SP.
Is it not true that he has had 1 full year of significant improvement?
I'm not knocking on Myers, but what I stated was a fact.
Except that in your comparison you left out the stats from 05, which is the most significant data point when projecting Meyers' performance this season.
