Derek Jeter, who left today's game after being hit on the hand with a pitch, has been diagnosed with a bruised thumb. X-rays on the finger were negative.
It appears he'll be day-to-day, but Jeter may miss a game or two as the same hand has been bothering him this past week. He should be fine to leave in your lineup in weekly leagues. Jun. 4 - 4:49 pm et
