Sorry I missed this before, not sure how I did with my name in the title.
I think stud prospects are the elite, so I don't consider many of them by that title. I still consider Ian a top 20-30 prospect, but his status just isn't what you would like from him. He had a great fiirst pro season and since then hasn't shown as much. Ian was hurt some of last year, buut even when he was finally healthy I expcted more out of him at aplace like the Cali League. Then this year in another hitting league he seems to be struggling. I personally wish I had an interview or something more to go on cause I feel he does have the talent to be a top 10 prospect, but something doesn't seem right.
He does have plenty of time and I do think he will get his stroke back. The question is how he adapts and not start to become one of those injury prone prospects. In the end I see him being a pretty good 3b w/ the potential to be one of the top, but it's odd what has happened thus far. I wish I could go and watch him in person to see what is up. Not sure if any of that really answered much though.
