Is Mench platooning?

Mench seems to be missing games every couple of days but I haven't heard anything about him being hurt.. I dont know what to do with this guy. He hasn't hit a homer or an RBI in what seems like forever, but his average is still decent.

I was certain that I would drop E. Encarnacion when Cantu returned but now Edwin is heating up and Mench continues to struggle... There aren't many better OFs in FA in my league, with the exception of maybe Hermida.

You guys think Mench is worth holding onto?

i like mench, but he's very streaky.
he isnt really platooning, its just buck trying to get derosa at bats, when derosa eventually cools off mench and wilkerson will go back to playing 99% of the time.

The fact that his average is still .300 tells me that he's not struggling, so maybe the RBI's will come... Maybe they should bump his shoe size up another half size.
