Rookie Needs Help

First season in FBB and Im totally addicted! Been guilty of tinkering and maybe playing the "hot hand" a little too much... but i have improved nicely winning over the past few weeks. (Moved up from 11th to 9th and 8th is on the horizon) Any thoughts on where i can improve for the long haul?

its my first year too and im just trying not to do to bad this year what i would do is get rid of podds he does nothing for a h2h league.
