The random Quiz thread

Postby PlayingWithFire » Sat Jun 03, 2006 2:49 pm

since the player name thread died I figure I'd start another thread to fill space in general talk.

Basically somebody ask a question and when somebody answered it correctly they ask a question and so on. It is prefered that you don't look it up on the internet until say 4-5 people get it wrong or nobody answers

first question: In what city is the wizard of oz museum located?

City and State?

Somewhere in Kansas seems like the obvious answer, but I'm going with St. Louis, MO. I think thats where L. Frank Baum was from for some reason.

I'm so into Kansas I've actually been to the Oz Museum. Surprisingly (or maybe not), it sucked. I rank it second behind the worlds largest shovel in the list of Kansas tourist destinations. Not quite Topeka, not quite Manhattan.

Wamego, Kansas.

Hehe, ok I guess I screwed the game up already. Not sure where 60 minutes would rank. Let me rephrase the question to longest running US TV show based on fictional writing and only aired one episode a week. I think that covers all the oddball stuff. :-o
