I'm considering trading for him in one of my leagues.

Considering he threw 128 innings the last seasons when most pitchers throw 220, and that he's on the DL (only 31 innings so far), i would say he's injury prone.. SI had a piece on the athletics' chance of success and one of the critical elements was that harden stay healthy.

Of course, if you can grab him cheap since he's on the DL- don't hesitate to buy low.

Nah...he just spends a lot of time on the DL because he enjoys late night fighing trips

yeah...Harden is injury prone...but when healthy he's a legit ace...

Possibly the only worthwhile post in this thread. However, I would definitely have to agree and also add that I wouldn't recommend getting him. He's turning into the next Prior or Wood.

Harden is a small guy 180-185.....He throws extremely hard and small bodies tend to break down more-so than bigger guys. The dude throws in the upper ninties so chances are that something is gonna tweak once in awhile.

This was a big concern for Roy Oswalt also because he's about Harden's size....Oswalt has managed to stay healthy though so some guys can hold up
