.. with 2 walks and 2 runs, but yeah we'd like to see him hit.

Helton was the ONLY Rockies player (except for the P or pinch hitters for the P) not get get a hit in the game

When Giambi had a "mysterious stomach ailment" everyone assumed it was steroid related.
I think Wayne Hagan had it right the first time.

Todd hadn't gotten himself off my pine all year. I finally gave up and dropped him for Youkilis and some much-needed backup at 3B. Utley's at 1B pending DLee's return and Sanchez at 2B, where I'd normally play Utley. I hope I don't regret this ...

You will definitely regret it. Look what Helton did from mid-June until the end of last year and look at how slowly he started that season.

i remember the helton frustrations i had last year...and swore id never draft him again, well i now have him in all 4 leagues im in... 3 of them because he fell to the 5th round and i just had to take him because he fell so far.
in the other i was desperate for a firstbaseman so i made a trade.
im only hoping he turns it on the second half like he did last year

I did look at last year after the All-Star break before I pulled the trigger ...
.367 10 HR 40 RBI 48 R ... eh. Great BA but HR & RBI are basically average if not a bit less for a 1B. I needed Rs from 3B and Youkilis is scoring. Anyhoooo, I've been in first place all year with Helton on the bench and DLee's DL stint ... and there's a decent chance Todd'll be on the WW in a couple weeks.

Yea, I haven't known what to make of him at all.
I just traded him in a keeper league for lidge. Both struggling, both with ???'s. But even if Helton goes wild like last year, the power and rbi simply won't be there. I think he is a good player to have, but he isn't integral like he used to be.

I wasn't expecting 30 HRs when I drafted. Hopefully he'll end up with about 20..
