Logan Kensing with save for FLA - Borowski done ?

Postby p32bars » Sat Jun 03, 2006 12:02 am

Kensing threw the 8th and 9th tonight allowing no hits or walks while striking out 4 to earn the save for the Marlins. What gives?

Weird. Borowski last pitched on the 29th and 30th of May, so I don't think he was overworked... :-? :-? :-?

This is Rotoworld's take on it:

Logan Kensing struck out four in two perfect innings Friday to earn his first career save.
Joe Borowski was likely available, but he was bypassed for one night. Kensing has pitched six hitless innings over his last five appearances, so while it's unlikely that he'll be named the Marlins' closer right away, he is in line for more save chances. He has value in NL-only leagues

"These go to 11".
