Postby kentx12 » Fri Jun 02, 2006 11:04 pm

As the trade deadline approaches there will be alot of rumors going around. We thought it would be a good idea to have somewhere to discuss all the latest rumors.

There will come a day when Barry Bonds leaves baseball, and everything about the game will be the better for it.

Why don't the Dodgers put Perez back in the rotation, or the better idea: call up Billingsley? :-?

Some other trade rumors to get discussions started: Soriano going lots of places, Yankees getting replacement outfielders, and Barry Zito going to one of the New York teams.

I heard VIA Sporting News that the Mets are looking to put up 2 prospects and Kaz Matsui for Soriano. Only problem is
Kaz has a no trade clause (Called a limited no trade clause.) So I'm not sure if Kaz will goto Washington

There's no way the Nats would do that unless Pelfrey or Milledge was in it.

Yeah, I think they could swing it but they have to give up a combination of guys including Fernando Martinez.

Well it's called "Rumors", But part of trading to get a upgrade is giving up something. So Pelfrey or Milledge might be gone.
