2 great starts under his belt... He made the Good Indian bats look pretty mediocre. The two runs were dinks in the 7th when he had a 10 run lead. I like how he hides the ball in his windup and changes his speed and release point a lot. I don't think he threw one single fat pitch right down the middle. He nibbled the corners, up and down, in and out, a good slider that he occassionally throws, and 2 versions (varies the speed) of his 4 seamer and 2 seamer fastballs. I'm not sure he has a change up, but when you've basically got four different fastballs that vary in speed and movement, you don't really have to have a changeup. And he can throw them all for strikes, so it's hard to guess what he's going to throw and where he's going to throw it. That and he rarely gets into hitter counts.
Long term, the good news is he's mostly throwing those different fastballs, and doesn't go to the slider a lot... That's a good sign for for his long term endurance and makes him less likely to have shoulder/elbow problems...
