Better Keeper Prospects: Gordon, Weaver, Wood

I'm in an AL-only, 12-team, $260 salary cap, competitive keeper league that I won last year and will not win this season. I've got several players in their final contract year that the contenders are making offers for.

Please give your thoughts on the following deals:

I trade Mo Rivera, Torii Hunter, and Kenny Rogers

for

1) Brandon McCarthy ($5), Gary Mathews, Jr. ($5), Jared Weaver ($10), and Alex Gordon ($10)

or

2) Chris Ray ($10), Scott Baker ($11), Jason Botts ($10), and Brandon Wood ($10)

Option 1 is cheaper with a good young pitcher, a serviceable OF, and two top prospects.

Option 2 is more expensive, with one top prospect, a possible good young hitter, a pitcher that just got sent to AAA but still should have a future, and a closer at a fantastic value.

Which way would you go and why?

#1 is easily tbe better trade IMO.

- you get 2 pitching prospects that could turn into #2/#3 type guys not to mention throw a premium 3B bat in

- not sold on Wood, think he will move to 3B and if so Gordon IMO will be better ... avg/sb

- Botts is incredibly over priced at 10 bucks and Baker is a bit to much also. Especially when you consider Gordon is the same price as Botts ... which shouldn't be at all.

- You get better talent at a better price in #1
