rank these prospects...

Postby killercars » Fri Jun 02, 2006 10:27 am

no context to rank them in except i offered them in a trade... i want to know if i'm way off here...

i rank them like this... on a (1-10) scale...

liriano - 9
brandon wood - 8
howie kendrick - 8
alex gordon - 7
joel zumaya - 7
jeremy sowers - 6

and no this isn't a trade question... though my offer to the other person was wood/kendrick/zumaya for liriano/gordon/sowers

she turned it down sooo quick... (and i don't think it's anything but talent that she's looking at... needs of the our respective teams would be filled)... thanks...

i'm just wondering if i'm missing something on how i rank them...

if you could... just rank them the way i have above...

i want to get as much input as possible...

thank you sooooo much...

jhonny. ;-D

oh, snap... forgot a little "context"

5x5 h2h 14 teams... 12 keepers... starting pos = 5sp/2rp/c/fb/sb/ss/tb/3of/util/12bench

just an overall value in this type of league...

thanks.

Gordon - 9
Liriano - 8.5
Wood - 8
Kendrick - 8
Zumaya - 7.5
Sowers - 7

Anyways I can imagine she would of said no for a few reasons. If she is like me she likes Gordon's bat more then Wood. Also she would be giving up the best arm in the trade, which depending on her team etc. might not be something she is comfortable w/ doing. Maybe she also doesn't have a need at 2B for Kendrick.... hard to say with out seeing the teams themselves.

nice... ;-D

thanks guys...

i won't get into the trade side of it... i'll leave that for the other forum for possible counters...

but her infield looks like this...

c-irod
fb-fielder
sb-ray durham
ss-furcal
tb-eric chavez

her pitchers include haren/sabathia... i i understand why she'd want to keep liriano... just thought kendrick/wood would fit better there since she's got fielder/chavez at the corners...

thanks again guys...

time to think of a counter...
