If he only makes one more rehab start before coming back up, then he will certainly be on a very strict pitch count for awhile. Regardless, I'll be glad to see him pitching again.

Recommendation: "I feel good today," said Patterson on Thursday, after his first rehab start. "I have normal soreness, which is good. It's all in the right spot. It's something to build on." It looks like he's on pace to rejoin the Nats at the end of next week.

June 12: The rehab start John Patterson is scheduled to make tonight could be his final appearance before being activated from the disabled list, according to the Washington Post. "That's what we're hoping for," said Patterson, who could rejoin the Nationals' rotation on Saturday. He's been out of action with a strained muscle in his forearm.

Great! Just who I would want him to have his first start off the DL against! Oh well. I'm just happy he is back.
JP went 4 2/3 innings tonight and gave up 4 hits and 2 runs (1 ER) while striking out 3. He's expected to be back saturday against the Yankees after nothing went wrong tonight.
