John Patterson, on the disabled list with a right forearm strain, threw 30 pitches in a batting practice session and didn't feel any pain. "Everything felt free and easy," he said. "You couldn't tell that anything happened to my forearm. That's good. If I can just put it out of my mind, its going to be great." Patterson is expected to make a rehab start next week.

Most recent I've seen. 2 days old.
That's what I read, too. Gave me a good reason to drop Wandy Rod's @$$ after that 1 inning debacle because I was trying to figure out who to drop for him.
June 3: The Washington Post reports that John Patterson is slated to toss another simulated game on Saturday. If all goes well, he hoped to follow that up with a rehab assignment. "I hope it's one rehab start, maybe two," said Patterson, who is recovering from a strained muscle in his forearm.
I think the Nats are realizing that they need to ease Patterson along slowly with this recovery. A strained forearm muscle doesn't sound like an injury that will nag once he heals up fully.
Lets hope he returns in good form...I know I am, as I just traded for him

Encouraging.
If he's healthy enough to make a Class A start then why is it tentaively scheduled? Hope he's back next week.
