Ya I may do the same...what kind of caliber player are you targeting?
I traded Patterson, Pettitte, and Penny for Pedro Martinez.
If it was straight up I think you might be able to reel in a guy like Michael Young who hasnt lived up to expectations thus far, but still should turn it around.

Who knows if this really does matter, but has anyone taken notice that C.Patt turns 27 on August 13th???
Could it be true? Career year this year? Next year?

are you kidding me, not like he can steal a base every single day. At least he's hitting for average right now

The last couple of weeks against the Jays, I think he must've tried about 7 or 8 times to bunt for a single, and I think he was successful at least half of the time on those. He can still fly, and he obviously is using his speed as a tool to get on base too. Most of those games he might not have tried to steal based on the game situations. The rest of the Orioles were pretty much stealing left and right though.

You've got a diamond, You've got nine men
You've got a hat and a bat, And that's not all..

He is doing fine... still getting hits on a frequent basis.. Would like to see him walk a bit more but at least his strikeouts are still down...
Believe it or not Patterson would probably have at least 4 or 5 more stolen bases over the last week but his spot in the order kinda hurts him just as much as it helps.
How is he supposed to steal with Millar or Conine on base infront of him?
Wish he could adjust to batting leadoff.
