Thats pretty impressive! And todays stats 8inn, 3hits,1 ER, 2BB, 7K's and possibly a Win if they hold on.

With the win today he gets back to .500....His slider has had alot more bite to it the last month or so...his confidence is back...and I think he is going to be a big part of the Cubbie run to the NL Central title... :-D

My apologies to Cubbie ahead of time. :*)

I really wanted Webb to win today, but he pitched pretty bad.

0.085 whip? 8-o hehe. in all seriousness, clement is doing well. i would expect him to be solid (not extremely, but enough) the rest of the way.

Very nice observations, Jack. Here's some more from Fantistics.com:

Seeing that Matt Clement has limited the opposition to a .170, .040, .190, .170 Batting Average over his last 4 starts is a glaring indication of a pitcher who has found the zone....it's something that would be lost by simply taking a look at his year to date totals.
