Crawford looks hurt

Postby alwaysnextyear » Thu Jun 01, 2006 9:57 pm

Slid into home trying for an inside the park homerun (or advancing on an error, either way) and looks like he hurt his knee pretty bad. This sucks. :-o

well, he's back in the field. Sorry, I got a little excited when I saw my year pass before my eyes. It actually looked like he hyperexteded his knee while arguing the call. Oh, well. He should be OK.

Carl Crawford left Thursday's game in the fourth inning with a knee injury.
Angry at being called out at home plate, Crawford spiked his helmet and leaped in the air, apparently hurting his knee on the landing. He seemed to be in quite a bit of pain, so the DL is a real possibility here. If it happens, the Rays could bring Rocco Baldelli back from his rehab assignment early.

still speculation, but it looks like my team could be in trouble.

I didn't know Martin Gramatica played baseball.

Carl Crawford appeared to injure himself when he jumped up in protest after being called out at home. He landed ackwardly on his left leg/foot.

All I have to say as a Crawford owner is... What are you thinking???

(Saw this on Baseball Tonight)

Well, he came back out in the field the next half inning, so that's at least a reason to be optomistic.

Carl Crawford Injures Knee

Postby d18Mike » Thu Jun 01, 2006 11:13 pm

ROTOWORLD: Carl Crawford left Thursday's game in the fourth inning with a knee injury.
Angry at being called out at home plate, Crawford spiked his helmet and leaped in the air, apparently hurting his knee on the landing. He seemed to be in quite a bit of pain, so the DL is a real possibility here. If it happens, the Rays could bring Rocco Baldelli back from his rehab.

IMPORTANT EDIT: As you will see below, there is a more positive post-game prognosis. Whew!
